Before Sunday arrived, I would think
of a topic for my show. If I did not have contestants, I would find contestants
that I knew would fit the topic. I presented my radio game show to a live
audience, WNJR 91.7 listeners, every Sunday at 8:00pm from October 21st –
December 2nd. On a typical show I start off by playing a
pre-recorded introduction that was created by DeAndre Simmons. Afterwards I
open up my show by introducing my contestants and asking each of them what is
their definition of a friend. I use 30 second instrumental breaks when I go
from my introduction to round one, round two, round three to conclusion and anywhere
else necessary. The first round consists of me asking two contestants, one
person from each pair, questions about his/her friend. Round two is called
Memory Lane and my contestants have the opportunity to share a memorable story
they’ve had with their friend. Last, but not least, round three is extremely
similar to round one except I ask the other two contestants a different set of
questions. Finally, I conclude with the score and asking the winning team what
is the definition of a friend and the losing team what is the definition of a
fraud. And my show is wrapped up by a pre-recorded outro.
